[Information] The 8th International Symposium On Electroacoustic Technology Was Successfully Concluded


On the afternoon of March 19th, the 8th International Symposium on Electroacoustic Technology, sponsored by Shenzhen Research Institute of Nanjing University and guided by Pingshan District People's Government of Shenzhen, came to a successful conclusion in Pingshan Grand Cloud Day International Hotel. Leaders and experts from all parties brought a lot of professional theoretical guidance to this forum. During the two-day seminar, they actively spoke and enthusiastically interacted, creating a good international communication atmosphere based on sound technology.


On the first day of the conference, Fang Lin, Party member and deputy director of Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Commission, Liu Li, deputy district governor and Party member of Shenzhen Pingshan District People's Government, Wang Ning, first-level researcher of Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Commission, Lu Yanqing, vice president of Nanjing University, Professor Shen Yong, Professor of Nanjing University, doctoral supervisor, founder and Chairman of ISEAT International Symposium on electroacoustic technology and other important leaders and guests delivered speeches respectively.

Fang Lin said that Shenzhen is the world's electroacoustic devices and other electroacoustic products important research and development, production base. At present, the field of audio technology has come to a new point of development, but it is also faced with multiple challenges and difficulties. The global electro-acoustic practitioners should actively explore new technologies, new functions and new scenarios. In Shenzhen's "20+8" industrial cluster project, "One cluster, one fund, one exhibition and one forum" has been set up to facilitate the implementation and flowering of innovative projects.

Liu Li said that Pingshan District will focus on "9+2" industrial clusters, in which industrial clusters such as intelligent terminals, intelligent connected vehicles and new materials are closely linked to the development of electro-acoustic and related fields. Pingshan District industrial cluster project set up ten billion fund and other supporting services, to provide high-quality support for enterprise innovation. Next, Pingshan District will continue to create a better environment for the development of regional innovative technologies and promote the high-quality development of electroacoustic and related fields.

Lu Yanqing said that every international Symposium on electroacoustic technology will invite international and domestic renowned experts and scholars, entrepreneurs, senior engineers, to create a platform for academic exchange and cooperation for relevant people, to promote exchange, cooperation and development. With the convening of the International Symposium on electroacoustic Technology, Nanjing University will continue to play its role as the source and main front of innovation, and contribute its wisdom and strength to the cultivation and expansion of electroacoustic talents.

In the following session on "Sound Technology, Top of the Wave", Josh Reiss, former Director General of AES and Professor of the Digital Music Center at Queen Mary University of London, Wolfgang Klippel, Professor of the Technical University of Dresden and AES Silver Medal winner, Martin Berggren, Professor of Computational Science at Umeo University, Sweden; Mads Græsøll Christensen, Professor at Aalborg University, Denmark; Associate Editor of JASA of the Acoustical Society of America; Professor Ning Xiang, Director of the Department of Acoustics at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, PhD supervisor, tenure Professor and Sabin Prize winner; Alfred J., Chair of NAFEMS Multi-Physics Working Group Svobodnik, Deputy Director of the Institute of Acoustics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Distinguished researcher, doctoral supervisor Professor Yang Jun and other academic scholars brought academic reports and technical speeches to the participants in the four lecture halls. Hundreds of experts and scholars, business leaders and senior engineers at home and abroad were gathered to share cutting-edge academic achievements and development trends in the field of sound technology, such as professional electroacoustic, consumer electroacoustic, automotive acoustics, architectural acoustics, intelligent voice, etc., promoting in-depth exchanges between academia and industry.

Four forums were also successfully held at this conference, namely "Chairman Forum", "Voice Roundtable Forum in the Smart Cabin", "Reflections on the Voice" and "Digital and Analog Power Amplifier".

During the conference, the industry enterprises demonstrated excellent products and solutions. Including wireless audio test solutions, speech quality test and analysis system, acoustic simulation system, intelligent audio solutions and products, testing and measuring instruments and equipment.

The two-day event was a complete success. Shenzhen, with warm spring flowers, witnessed this grand academic and technical ceremony in the field of sound technology.
